We Haven't Planted This in 25 Years (Here's Why We're Bringing it Back)

After weeks of waiting, the rain finally arrived! We had 21mm across the farm this week, and the timing couldn’t have been better. Last week we made the call to start seeding with very little moisture in the ground, hoping rain was on the way , and thankfully the forecast was right. In this video we seed lupins for the first time on our farm in more than 25 years, check rain gauges across our three separate blocks in the Eastern Wheatbelt of Western Australia, and finally get some much needed moisture to begin seeding the oats. 0:00 Update on the rain 1:23 Preparing STX500 for seeding 4:54 Adding Inoculant to the lupins 7:19 Why we're planting lupins after 25 years 9:47 Checking rain gauges 11:18 Seeding oats How are conditions looking where you are?
