MidiStep for iOS - MasterClass #1 - Beginners Guide
This is the first in a series of MasterClass videos for MidiStep. If you haven't already seen the MidiStep Preview video, I suggest you watch that first. This video is purely aimed at beginners, but I feel everyone will learn something new from watching this video, which includes some very useful tricks and tips that you may not have discovered. In this video, I explain the basics of creating and randomizing your own patterns, as well as explaining how to setup and use all of the parameter modes such as Note, Octave, Velocity, Gate, Divider, Repeat and Delay lanes. I also talk about how to use Step Options such as disabling notes, ties, randomizing values on the fly, step jump, step skip, and step probability. If you want further help, please checkout the excellent help manual which was written by David Collett. Again, I would like to thank David for all the time and effort he has put into creating such a fantastically detailed and understandable manual. Thanks also to Greg Riker for his creative MidiStep demos.
