[#253] 9/19/1992--Fulton Speedway, Fulton, NY--Small Block Modifieds

The 7th annual Victoria 200 was held at Fulton Speedway in 1992 for Small Block Modifieds. Over 90 cars were on hand, with 9 heats and 4 consies thinning the herd to 41 cars for the start of the 200-lapper. #15 Billy Pauch took the lead from #30 Jim Mahaney on a lap 13 restart and held it all the way through lap 161. By then, #3 Tom Kinsella and #11 Jimmy Horton had made the super wide track even wider by cutting a new lane in the infield in turns 1-2, while Pauch remained about 5 lanes higher on the outside. Horton assumed command on lap 162, but a couple of laps later it was Kinsella gaining the upper hand as the battle continued. Kinsella held on for the win over Horton and Pauch, as #42 Pete Bicknell, #77x Dale Planck and #19 Kenny Brightbill also finished on the lead lap. Will White filmed this video.
