For parts who to www.Importapart.com or www.pro-rebuild.com For more content on this car and other I Do cars content, check out my wife's channel @TheCarWifeLife ITS ABOUT TIME EH?? This is the 1989 Pontiac TransAm GTA that I "rescued" from the salvage auction last year. In past videos, we got the car to start, got it to run well. Fixed the steering, and some suspension, some of the brakes. In this video, we try to make the final push to get it to be able to drive for the first time in 17 years since it was parked. We tackle the rest of the suspension and the dreaded brakes. The brakes on this car have been easily the worst part mainly because the entire system needed attention and the parts that came with the car maybe weren't exactly right. Several things went awry trying to get the brakes to work, and I power through them with the best of my patience. So, with all of this work done, how will this car drive? Was it worth it? Do I have regrets or will I regret selling it? Why did I do this? My name is Eric and I own and run Importapart, a full service auto dismantler. I also have a strong lust towards 80's and 90's cars that were once commonplace but now are few and far between. Having to buy and bid cars from across the country to keep the business going I often run across cars like this. Sometimes the action is very clear, parts car or rescue mission.
