DS: Time Stranger Playlist -    • Digimon Story: Time Stranger | PlayStation 5   Like Goal: 15 Digimon Story: Time Stranger Request Playthrough | Part 28: Head for the Dark Field Difficulty: Balanced (Normal) Merukimon tells us to seek the aid of Plutomon so let's get to it. This has us going to the Dark Field. It's home to a lot of Virus digimon so having Vaccines will help. A lot. We also have to use Geckomon to get around. We need to in order to get to the castle itself. Of course, once we do that, there are guards. Fortunately we divert their attention and press on. It's then we find Plutomon... or rather, a fallen version of it. ZombiePlutomon is a Virus-type that uses Dark magic so bring along some Light Vaccine-types to take him out. When it starts to build up power, use Cross Arts or moves that hit all targets. By doing this, you can prevent him from healing and unleashing his Hell Slicer. This is not hard though you will need Gekomon to make sure he doesn't heal and buff himself. That and we need Gekomon to activate a spell to avoid his last attack. After beating him, he dies. But then a black figure appears behind him and another Akashic Vision happens. So now we got to change this outcome too. Just great. We return back to the Dark Field, before everything happened. So we need Gekomon again to help us reach Plutomon. We reach him only to discover that same mystery digimon, Evil Cherubimon, trying to use Plutomon for his own ends. Fortunately we arrive in the nick of time, stopping him. It's then Plutomon tells us to send a message to Merukimon. Essentially, he learns the truth about this world and it's not pretty. Everything was a setup by a hero... one who has fallen to the dark side. He then explains about the hero Chronomon, who had control over time. He reigned over Iliad. But he would learn the truth that the world was ruled by a higher being, once inscribed in the Akashic Records. Learning this brought despair to Chronomon. Essentially, everything was preordained and he saw all of existence as cogs in a machine. He wanted to sever that fate so he ordered his warriors, the Titans, to attack the higher being. Sadly Chronomon was defeated and then sealed away within the core of the Akashic Records. As for the Titans, they were exiled and branded as villains. So essentially the legends were nothing but lies. Plutomon ends up becoming ZombiePlutomon. So we deliver the truth to Merukimon. Fortunately he sends someone to help Plutomon. Thankfully he survived. Another future is averted but now we have to deal with a much greater threat. All of this came about to bring out a demon who had fallen to darkness. Despite our efforts, the Titans are still on the attack. Merukimon tells us that someone is still pulling the strings. We also now reach Rank 7 so now we can digivolve our digimon to Mega. We're going to need Mega Digimon in order to survive what's yet to come. Part 29 is where we find that there's no cure.
