Basic Red Pepper Coulis - Best Vegetarian Sauce

In this video I would like to show you how to make basic red pepper coulis. Roasted Red pepper coulis is the best vegetarian sauce for any Occasion that can be used as a dip, spread, or topping. It is made by roasting red peppers until they are soft and then blending them with olive oil, salt, and pepper Coulis can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. In this video I would like to show you how to make simple and tasty roasted red pepper coulis or red pepper sauce. Red pepper coulis is good for any vegetarian sauces, fish, seafood, chicken etc. I will show you how to make this red pepper coulis step by step and I believe that you will be able to make this sauce after watching this video. Thank you, ( Chef Budi ) The ingredients are: 1 pcs Red bell pepper 50 gr Onion 1 pcs Garlic 25 gr Tomato paste 100 ml Chicken stock 25 gr Butter As needed Salt & pepper As needed White sugar Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place the bell peppers on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Roast the bell peppers for 30-40 minutes, or until they are soft and the skin is starting to blister. Let the bell peppers cool slightly, then remove the skin. Place the bell peppers in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Tips: For a smoky flavor, roast the bell peppers over an open flame or under a broiler. To make a smoother coulis, pass the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve. Coulis can be used as a dip for vegetables, crackers, or chips. It can also be used as a spread for sandwiches or wraps, or as a topping for pizza, pasta, or eggs. Enjoy!
