Can it hook? Episode 2
What can go into a rug? I created another sample piece that I hooked with all kinds of materials that aren't commonly used in rug hooking. In this episode, I used satin fabrics, novelty yarn, a velour trim from a blanket, a stretch black shirt with gold, one of my husband's old t-shirts and some pink fabric I don't know what to call. I hope this inspires you to upcycle old textiles into your pieces! If you're a rug hooker, I think you'll enjoy it. And if you're not a rug hooker, you might enjoy it the way I like cooking videos! https://www.larawellman.com/art/
