Ricercar Dietro by Joan Ambrosio Dalza Played by Edward Foster on a six course Renaissance Lute This is a beautiful little piece by Joan Ambrosio Dalza from around the date 1500. Dalza was a lutenist and composer from Milan in Italy. His surviving works are in the fourth volume of Ottaviano Petrucci’s lute music publications, Intabolatura de lauto libro quarto (Venice, 1508). My beautiful six course lute is made by Adrian & Lawrence Dodd: Please consider becoming a Patron to help me continue in my vocation of art, music, storytelling, and more, and also towards making these videos.
