The first in the region to use the orders of architecture as outlined for the first time by Sebastian Serlio in 1537, this home set the standard for building design for the next half century across the United States. We are so honored to have had the opportunity to join Brent Fortenberry, Head of the Preservation and Conservation Department at Tulane University as he walks his studio class through hands on historic structure reporting.
