Our objective in this layover at Colombo was to see as much as humanely possible, while indulging in local food - Egg Hopper, Chicken Kottu, Sri Lankan Biriyani. We’re bringing all of that to you in this video.The drive itself from the airport to the city center was stunning - clean highways, busy and happening streets, modern and colonial buildings, so much greenery outside. We knew right from the start that we would love this city. Tuktuk is the best mode of transportation in this city. Fun, fast, reliable and always available. We walked in the historic Fort district, admiring the neoclassical buildings from outside - many of them are now government buildings and residences. #colombo #srilanka #indoexplorers
