The sorting process is usually done using Tampi / Tampah. The soybeans are then soaked in warm water for about 6 to 12 hours. This is done until the texture of the soybeans is easy to process. Try to drown all the soybeans. In this soaking process the soybeans will expand. After soaking, clean the soybeans many times. Try this soybeans as clean as possible to avoid soy quickly sour. Then crushed until smooth. usually use a mill or if you make a little you can also use a blender. Add water little by little so that the soybeans form a pulp. Soybean juice little by little until the soybean pulp is no longer left. This process is usually done several times so that the soy water is made into smooth tofu. soybean slurry at a temperature of 70-80 degrees (usually with small bubbles appearing on cooked soybeans). Remember to keep the soybeans from thickening. Then, wait for the hot steam to dissipate. Strain the soy pulp, stirring slowly. Add the ingredients for tofu (tofu stone or sour enough) and mix well. This process will produce tofu deposits (lumps). The precipitate is ready to be pressed .. Beat the tofu dough in a pressed / pressed mold so that the water contained in the tofu can be squeezed out continuously.
