25 अक्टूबर, 1980 को साहिर लुधियानवी इस दुनिया को अलविदा कह गए थे, लेकिन उनके लिखे गीत दुनिया को हमेशा जीने का सलीक़ा सिखाते रहेंगे। साहिर लुधियानवी का नाम एक ऐसे गीतकार के रूप में हमेशा अदब से लिया जाता रहेगा, जिन्होंने फिल्मी को मयार बख़्शा था। गीत, गज़लें, नज़्में, कव्वाली, भजन, ऐसे जाने कितने ही भावों को साहिर ने अपने जादुई शब्द दिए। बात चाहे युद्ध की हो या शांति की हो, बच्चों के तराने हों या ख़ुशी के गीत, ग़म के नग़में हों या रोमानी शायरी, किसानों की समस्याएं हों या तवायफ़ों की सिसकियां, ऐसा कौन सा विषय है, जिसे साहिर की कलम ने अछूता छोड़ दिया हो। समंदर की लहरें गिनना नामुमकिन होता है, साहिर की याद को भी समेटना नामुमकिन है। फिर भी ‘द वायर’ पर ‘हिंदी की बिंदी’ उनकी कुछ यादें ताज़ा कर रही है, गौहर रज़ा साहब के साथ। गौहर रज़ा ख़ुद भी मक़बूल शख़्सियत के मालिक हैं, वे जाने-माने वैज्ञानिक हैं, कलमकार हैं, फिल्म निर्माता हैं और सामाजिक साहित्यकारों से जुड़े हुए हैं। Like our work?
