Hotel Review: Eurostars Astoria Málaga, Andalusia, Spain - February 2026
Hotel Review: Eurostars Astoria Málaga, Andalusia, Spain - February 2026: • Hotel Review: Eurostars Astoria Málaga, An... . I stayed at this hotel for one night in February 2026. The room was extremely comfortable, it was much more boutique than what I had imagined. The staff were also very friendly. I was very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay there again in future. Eurostars Astoria Hotel is a centrally located hotel in Málaga, Spain, positioned within walking distance of key cultural, transport and leisure destinations. It sits in the city centre, providing convenient access to attractions such as Calle Larios, Plaza de la Constitución, Málaga Cathedral, and the Picasso Museum, as well as many cafés, shops and historic streets that define the heart of the city. The hotel occupies a historic building that has been adapted for modern hospitality, combining architectural character with contemporary guest facilities. Eurostars Astoria provides a range of guest rooms designed to accommodate solo travellers, couples and business visitors. Standard features in guest rooms include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, work desks, minibars and en-suite bathrooms with shower or bath options. Rooms vary in size and layout, with some offering views over neighbouring streets or interior courtyards. Eurostars Astoria’s services include a 24-hour reception desk, which assists with check-in, local information and transport arrangements. Daily housekeeping is provided to maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout guests’ stays. The hotel also offers luggage storage and concierge support for sightseeing advice, reservations and local recommendations. Breakfast is typically served on-site in a dedicated dining area, offering a selection of hot and cold items suitable for early departures or leisurely starts to the day. While the hotel does not operate a full restaurant for lunch and dinner, its central location places it within easy reach of a wide range of dining venues in Málaga’s historic centre. In terms of transport access, Eurostars Astoria is close to Málaga’s main railway station, Málaga María Zambrano, which provides national and regional connections, including AVE high-speed services. The station is also linked to Málaga Airport by a direct rail service, making it easy for visitors arriving by air to reach the hotel without transfers. The hotel’s central position also means tram and bus stops are nearby, offering connections to coastal areas such as La Malagueta and the Port of Málaga, along with suburban districts. For visitors planning to explore beyond the city, the main bus terminal and taxi ranks are within comfortable walking distance. Overall, Eurostars Astoria Hotel in Málaga offers centrally located accommodation with practical amenities, suitable for travellers interested in city sightseeing, cultural attractions and convenient transport links. Its mix of historic context and modern guest services makes it well suited for short-stay visitors exploring Málaga on foot.
