Porsches of Japan – Rare 911s, Street Builds, Race Cars & Idlers Track Days (4K)

Japanese car culture is truly incredible and awe inspiring. The communities that thrive within the automotive world have always piqued my interest. After all, a car means little to me unless I can learn about the owner who built it. Brand heritage and rich history aside, I'm passionate and equally curious about the choices behind every detail. Why did they choose this car? Why did they build it in a certain way? Does it bring them happiness and contentment? What is their goal? These are the questions that race through my mind whenever I’m surrounded by these works of art. That's what draws me to Japan's legendary Porsche scene every time — from ISO san and Kührei Racing Service’s meets to wild track days with Idlers at Motegi, night runs in Hidaka san’s insane 1970 911S, and quiet moments by the docks with Koji-san’s 991 Carrera in Osaka. It’s been overwhelming, in the best way possible. Enjoy these rare air cooled gems alongside some beautiful water cooled builds. Big shoutout to the owners who take these cars out and drive them hard. The battle scars on a few cars at Idlers proved just how resilient both the owners and their machines truly are out here.
