Saanen 1976 - Public Talk 7 - When you are a light to yourself you are a light to the world Summary: There is no one to guide you, to tell you that you are progressing or to encourage you. You have to stand completely alone in meditation. This light can only come to you when you understand what you are. To be aware of oneself without any choice, allowing the whole movement of the self to flower. As you observe, it undergoes a radical transformation. Thought has divided itself as the controller and the controlled, but there is only thinking. To observe your consciousness wholly there must be no motive or direction. Q: What is right livelihood?
