Well-known comedian, Chonda Pierce shares transparently from her life, raising her children with her husband, David as the stay-at-home parent, while she traveled a great deal, making people laugh all across the country. When the kids graduated and left for college, her husband, David found himself alone at home and started drinking and then couldn't stop. Chonda also shares tragedies from her past--the death of two sisters and childhood abuse she suffered at the hands of her father, who was also a minister, but mentally unstable.
