IF Statements in jamovi to Calculate Condition-Specific Total Scores
In between-subjects experiments conducted in Qualtrics (and other platforms), you may need to collect scores in different blocks that you want to merge into one total score column. When this occurs, you need to use IF statements. This video walks through how to create a single total score using a Control condition with 5 questions and then an Experimental condition with the same questions in 5 separate columns that all need to be combined into a total score.
