Konica IIA Rangefinder review. Built like a Swiss watch, with a superb lens
This is the first of three youtubes on my rangefinder cameras. The 1956 Konica IIA rangefinder is not for photographeres who are in a hurry. This camera is made to be used slowly and methodically, with two or even three operations when other cameras have one. So, if you like cogs within gears within levers, you will delight in this little piece of engineering. If you like good optics, you will also love the 48mm f2 fixed lens. I run a roll of Ilford Delta 400 black and white through it, develop it in Caffenol (see video here: • I Develop My Film In Coffee. Caffenol Is A... 0 ) scan and show you the results.
