3 Airbusy A380 v Praze v jeden den. Historický moment na Ruzyni.

On 5 March 2026, a very rare aviation moment happened at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Within a single day, three Airbus A380 aircraft operated by Emirates were handled at the airport. The story began on 28 February 2026, when a major aviation disruption in the Middle East forced airlines to divert multiple long-haul flights. Because of the closure of airspace in the Persian Gulf region, two Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft were diverted and ended up stranded in Prague. One aircraft arrived on the diverted flight EK212 from Houston, while the second aircraft was operating the regular EK139 Dubai – Prague service. Due to the ongoing airspace shutdown in the region, both aircraft remained parked in Prague for several days. As operations in the Emirates network gradually resumed, 5 March became an extraordinary day for aviation fans. Three Airbus A380 movements took place in Prague within hours: • Departure of the diverted EK212 flight from Prague back to Dubai • Arrival of the scheduled EK139 flight from Dubai operated by an Airbus A380 • A technical ferry flight (EK138) returning the last stranded aircraft back to Dubai During this unique day, Prague handled three Airbus A380 aircraft with registrations A6-EUI, A6-EUZ and A6-EUP. Although the aircraft were not all present at the airport at the exact same moment, it is still an extremely rare event for Prague Airport and something that is unlikely to happen again in the foreseeable future.
