Make sure you tune your guitar down one half-step in order to follow along with this lesson and the original recording. Those notes will be, starting from the 6th string (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb). "Estranged" is almost a guitar solo from beginning to end with Slash playing soaring guitar melodies throughout most of the song along with some scorching guitar solos where he kicks it into a higher gear. I will break down all of those lead guitar parts in this video lesson series then go back and show you the rhythm guitar parts as well.
