End of season renovation time on both TifTuf Bermuda and Santa Ana Couch, and in this video I run through the full process step by step to get the lawns reset and ready for the next growing season. This wasn’t just a mow, it was a proper renovation including a heavy scalp, scarifying to remove thatch and open the canopy, followed by a full treatment program to set the lawn up heading into dormancy. What was done in this renovation: • Mowed down hard to remove excess growth • Full scalp to reset height • Scarified to remove thatch and improve airflow • Applied Ultra Max granular fertiliser to kick things along • Applied Tombstone fungicide targeting spring dead spot • Applied Rumbler and Termiforce insecticides for broad pest control • Applied Flow Max soil wetter to help move products into the soil profile • Followed up with irrigation to wash everything in properly This type of renovation is key for maintaining elite warm season lawns like TifTuf and Santa Ana, reducing thatch, improving density and giving the turf the best chance to bounce back strong before winter sets in.
