Skill Builder series: Knots for Hand Sewing (Quilter's Knot) - for hemming, appliqué, etc
Thank you to Georgina in my Facebook group for her suggestion of a quick video on how to make this simple, but very effective, knot in your thread for any hand sewing that you may need to do. Try practicing with a larger needle first and then move onto a slimmer needle. Before you know it you'll be super speedy and proficient at knotting your thread. If you would like to join my Facebook page please search for 'SewingbyClaire - Sewing Support Group' or follow the link below and I'll be very happy to admit you. The group is for all aspects of sewing for both beginners and improvers and we enjoy Quilting, Dressmaking for Children and Adults, Doll Making, Appliqué, Cross Stitch and Embroidery to name the most common.
