Técnicas básicas: Cuerda Seca

On red bisque tiles, we transfer the chosen design and trace the outlines with an oily material, such as a simple graphite pencil or, as in this case, a third-firing color mixed with Venetian turpentine. Each cell of the design is filled with glazes suitable for this technique. I chose those from Prodesco (http://www.prodesco.es/sp/tienda.asp?.... We should apply a fairly thick layer, between 1 and 2 millimeters, and fire it at 980ºC. The process is simple and very suitable for making it a good time for meditation.
