Tsunade, the 5th Hokage, did not fight against any of the Paths of Pain during the Pain arc. The Tsunade vs Pain fight is one many fans wanted to see, and it could've been interesting like Jiraiya vs Pain, Naruto vs Pain, or Kakashi vs Pain. Instead of fighting Pain, Tsunade uses her healing Ninjutsu to help the Konoha ninjas in the struggle against the Paths of Pain Assaulting the Leaf Village.
