The REAL alligator alley - and I got out of the car

Big Cypress National Preserve is adjacent to the Everglades NP in south Florida. Big Cypress is a large swamp, and the NPS site contains features that bring you right up in close contact with some crazy wild life. In this video, I check out the walkway at Kirby Storter Park, then take the amazing dirt Loop Road, where the ranger at the visitor center told me he's never NOT seen alligators. Could I realize a lifelong ambition and actually see wild alligators, live and in person, in their own regular habitat? The moss, the murk, the inscrutable white birds, the sense of danger... this was an unbelievable visit to Big Cypress. ▶︎ BG report → https://www.t1dwanderer.com/bg-report... 🗺️ EXTENDED AD-FREE VERSIONS →   / t1dwanderer   Support this channel on Patreon to get access to all my full-length YouTube videos, past, present, and future.
