Lüneburger Stülper | Korbflechtkurs (4k)

Beekeeping in baskets is a very special type of beekeeping. This traditional form is particularly at home in the Heide region, i.e. in the north of Germany and the Netherlands. It is astonishing that despite all the progress in these regions, keeping bees in baskets is still practiced. However, knowledge is dwindling and there are only a few true master basket weavers left. We are very lucky that @rob from the Netherlands has come to us in the south of Germany to teach us the art. With a lot of love and expertise, he has brought us closer to our goal, bond by bond: a genuine Lüneburger Stülper. Rob showed us that you can weave a great basket with very few materials and tools. If you want to recreate this at home, you only need a few tools: Garden scissors: https://amzn.to/4h9tbMI Awl: https://amzn.to/3Yb7Aen Water Sprayer: https://amzn.to/406ODfp When using straw, please make sure that it is long-stemmed, untreated rye straw that has been harvested by hand before the grain is actually ripe.
