When Seconds Matter: Are Cities Ready for Drones, 5G and Artificial Intelligence in Public Safety?
This session start off with three insightful presentations by LMT on how a computer vision works in a realistic scenario, the Electronic Communications Office on how to obtain reliable measurements for drone use, and Riga Municipality demonstrating a GIS tool for planning drone landing sites and setting priorities. Drawing on the experience of the 5G4LIVES project, the following panel will explore what is needed for 5G connectivity, drones and artificial intelligence to become reliable public safety tools in an urban environment.
