Tying The Stacked Blonde with Kelly Galloup

The Stacked Blonde is a take off of one of Joe Brooks flies – the Platinum or Honey Blonde series. I wanted a little broader profile so I tied it in four stacks of bucktail on a keel hook. Of all my flies, the Stacked Blonde accounted for more than half of the fish my clients landed over 25 inches when I was guiding back in Michigan.
