Community Forum: School Safety and Security

The Cherokee County School District on Oct. 8, 2024 presented a community forum on the topic of safety and security. This is a video recording of the panel presentation, featuring Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis, Police Chief Buster Cushing and staff, Chief School Leadership and Operations Officer Dr. Debra Murdock and staff, and Cherokee Sheriff Frank Reynolds. The panel was followed by small group discussions about advancing safety and security practices in CCSD schools.
