Second time on 東卯山Mt. Dong Mao of the  谷關七雄 GUGUAN SEVEN HEROES

Mt. Dong Mau is the fifth highest (1,690 M) of the GuGuan Seven “Heroes.” Lots of switchbacks gently bring you to an upper rocky section. The trail is fairly well-marked but there were a few places where hikers (including myself) had stacked small logs to block off the wrong way. I brought 2L of water and lots of snacks. The mobile network is good; in fact, I called my wife at one point from the trail on an easy stretch. We parked at the base of Yuchi Feng Shen Tai Temple (with facilities including showers) but it is possible to drive up to the trailhead (about 1km) with several parking spaces. #hikingadventures #taiwan #hikingtrails #heroes #mountainviews #mountainview
