New Year, NEW RULES ! 🇹🇷 [KARATE VLOG]

The first Karate Premier League of the year brought me to Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷 — and this one was different. The Karate1 Premier League only allows the top 32 athletes in the world to compete. Every match matters because the points earned here help athletes qualify for the next World Karate Championships. But this event was even more challenging than usual… This was the start of a brand new competitive cycle with completely new rules that are changing the way kata competition works. Everyone came in prepared, but day one of competition was full of surprises. Throughout the tournament we had to adapt, adjust, and stay mentally sharp every round. Step by step we pushed through the bracket, overcoming every challenge that came our way. In the end, we fought all the way to the bronze medal match — and brought home the BRONZE 🥉. Standing on the podium in Istanbul was a special moment, especially sharing it with three incredible Japanese athletes who continue to push the level of kata higher every year. The rule changes definitely made this competition difficult, but I truly believe these changes will help the sport grow and evolve. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the tatami with some of the best karateka in the world. Thank you all for the support — I hope you enjoy the vlog 🙏🥋 Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and don’t forget to like, share, and send it to your karate friends!
