ODISSI CHANDRIKA - A film on Odissi Dance (Episode III & IV)

“Odissi Chandrika” – Conceived & researched by Padmashree Ranjana Gauhar, who is also the protagonist in this film that explores the origin, evolution & technique of Odissi dance. Although the core of the film comes from research and documented information, it has been designed as a docu-drama in an effort to attract, educate and entertain even those viewers who may not be familiar with the classical dances of India. “Odissi Chandrika” is destined to become a precious document in the history of Odissi dance, for it has captured and preserved on film, moments that will soon become memories.
