The Central Line Improvement Programme
The Central Line Improvement Programme (CLIP) is one of the largest fleet upgrade programmes in Transport for London’s (TfL) history, upgrading the Central Line’s 30-year-old 92 tube stock. The programme includes numerous improvements for the fleet such as new LED lighting, an upgraded traction system, and new wheelchair spaces.
