He heard confessions for hours, often with a penetrating insight that revealed the deepest stirrings of the heart. He knew what spiritual struggle, fatigue, and darkness were, and he always emphasized: Jesus gives strength. 🙏 Today we pray that we, too, in the ordinary struggles of life, family tensions, work, and illness, may not lose heart.
