At the same time, the BDI (Federation of German Industries) is lowering its economic forecast. It now expects growth of only 0.4 percent this year. In January, the forecast was still at one percent. Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil says he perceives the country as stagnant. His goal is to put Germany back on a growth path.
