Vintage Lenses Ep. 1: Reviewing the AutoChinon 50mm f/1.9
Check out my updated 2019 written review at my blog! https://bit.ly/2LiAy9T I've moved to Pentax since making this video and have had great luck shooting this lens natively. This video marks the first in a series of videos about adapting vintage lenses to modern DSLR and mirrorless cameras. I'm kicking of this series with the niftiest of nifty fifty lenses, my $9 USD Auto Chinon 50mm f/1.9 lens. Using vintage lenses not only provides a unique and often awesome look, but it's also very affordable! I'm personally using a Sony A7, however, many folks have a lot of luck adapting these lenses to a variety of cameras. Mirrorless cameras in particular are well suited to this task.
