Sophie Barut. Pour le pire et le meilleur

One evening in May 1998, near Saint-Etienne (Loire), a bicycle accident seemed to abruptly halt the exciting plans of a couple married for eight months "for better or for worse." The worst happened that day. Thus began the long struggle of this man, victim of a traumatic brain injury, and this 25-year-old woman who, faithful to her will, would fight for his love and bear him four children. Sophie Barut, trained as an architect and now a wife, mother, and sculptor, is on KTO to share this love story, as she recounted it in a book, "Je entrerai avant la nuit" (Nouvelle Cité editions). She talks about her faith, which allowed her—and still allows her—to experience these events in peace and joy. A difficult intellectual and spiritual journey that she shares with us with grace on the set of Un Coeur qui écoute. Un Coeur qui écoute from April 20, 2018.
