Kyambogo graduates appeal to First Lady over disputed academic qualifications

Kyambogo University graduates are appealing to the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, and President Museveni to urgently intervene in a long-running academic dispute, after they were issued transcripts reflecting a different qualification from the course they were admitted to in 2017. The graduates, originally enrolled for a Physical Education programme, say they were instead awarded transcripts indicating Sports Management upon completion—an outcome they insist has undermined their academic identity and future prospects.
