Hungry Horrors is a game where we defeat evil hungry beasties not by killing them to death, but by feeding them a lot of food so they're not hungry enough to eat us! We play as a Princess (in a good hat) who must save the Kingdom by dealing with various biomes filled with monsters. Before we play we generate ingredients, such as eggs, butter, milk, flour, and more, and we then get to cook various food items using those ingredients! Roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, jellied eels, scones, pork pies, lots of delicious British and Irish delicacies! Each food has it's own abilities and properties, plus it also satisfies a certain amount of hunger when given to a monster. We then need to use various combinations, including making the monster crave certain food types, to maximise the hunger our dishes can satisfy before they eat us! There are new dishes to unlock, seasonings to find, spices to uncover, cooking utensils to provide bonuses, and it's all done with a good dose of tongue-in-cheek humour and a lovely pixel-art appearance. Find a familiar to follow you on your journey and sniff out potions along the way.
