The now Highgate Park Facility is now permanently closed and is subject for decommission. The residential facility was closed in April 2020, and all residents were successfully relocated to supported community accommodation. Founded in 1879 by Mrs Julia Warren Farr as the home for incurables, it was once the largest institution of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.
