Dalton Caldwell: Incubators, Accelerators, and Y Combinator

Dalton Caldwell is a Partner at Y Combinator. After graduating, Dalton founded two media companies, iMeme and Mixed Media Labs. In this talk, Dalton talked about what startups and founders need to be focused on early on in order to succeed. Within the past several decades there have been new entrants, from incubators to angels to different models of venture capital. The course explores changes in the venture capital industry: from the rise of Sand Hill Road and investing in the dot-com bubble, to incubators and accelerators, equity crowd funding platform, and different models of venture capital today.
