Abi - Dedicated to the memory of my father أبي Composer & Oud :Sameer Makhoul Qanun:Suhail Nassar Percussion: youssef hbeisch Sameer Makhoul is an Oud player, a composer and a singer from the village of Buqei‘a in the Upper Galilee who currently resides in Nazareth. He is married and a father of two children, Elias and Lamar. He is an alumnus of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He is a left-handed Oud player who has his own unique style of playing the Oud. As a left-handed player, he looks to develop new techniques and non-traditional ways of playing the Oud. His discography includes the albums: Footprint (Athar), which is considered his masterpiece; Jericho Musical (Mughanat Ariha), which commemorates the ten-thousand-year anniversary of the city of Jericho. He also handled the music supervision and arrangement for numerous projects including an album by the Palestinian composer Rohi Al-Khamash. His creative work is characterized by some kind of a dialogue or a blend of traditional Arab music and his own music. He participates in local and international festivals and serves as the musical director of the Ziryab Conservatory in Nazareth. سمير مخّول : عازف عود، ملحّن ومطرب، من مواليد قرية البقيعة في الجليل الاعلى، مقيم في الناصرة، متزوج وأب لولدين : الياس ولمار. خرّيج أكاديمية القدس للموسيقا، عازف عود أيسر، وله اسلوبه الخاص في العزف. يبحث سمير من خلال "يسار عود" وطريقة عزفه في اليد اليسرى لابتكار تقنيات وأساليب جديدة غير تقليديّة في العزف على العود. له العديد من الأعمال الموسيقيّة الخاصة منها : اسطوانة "أثر" وهي باكورة أعماله، "مغناة أريحا" بمناسبة عشرة ألاف عام على مدينة اريحا. مشرف وموزّع موسيقي لاسطوانة الملحّن الفلسطيني" روحي الخماش"، وغيرها من الاعمال الموسيقيّة. تعتمد إبداعاته على الحوار والمزج بين الموروث الموسيقيّ العربيّ وموسيقاه الخاصّة. يشارك في مهرجانات محليّة وعالميّة. مؤسّس ومدير موسيقيّ لكونسرفتوار زرياب لتعليم الموسيقى في الناصرة.
