"Sophietje" is a Dutch hit from the 1960s sung by Johnny Lion for his beloved Sophie. The song eventually made it across the ocean and was recorded by a number of artists; this version is by Eddie Cochran, which was never released and, as far as we know, is the only thing he ever recorded in Dutch.
