Turning Out Cows & Turning Out Chickens!

It's time to turn out some chickens and some cows! It's that time of the flock where we transition the baby chickens from the front half of the house to the entire house. We usually do this around day 7 or day 8 of a flock. Sometimes it depends on the vaccination program of the chickens and sometimes it just depends on the weather. We also have a pasture that has been sitting empty for a few months now. The ryegrass is really starting to grow. We decided to move some cattle pairs to this pasture to let them enjoy that nice, fresh grass.
