Today, in Judges 2–4; 6–8; 13–16, I want to talk to you about an extremely dangerous spiritual pattern… a silent cycle… that destroyed entire generations in the book of Judges—and that still destroys lives today. Perhaps you have experienced this. Moments when you were spiritually strong… praying… feeling the Spirit… attending church… studying the scriptures… But then, little by little… You relaxed. You stopped watching. You stopped seeking God intensely. And without realizing it… you began to drift away. The book of Judges shows exactly this pattern. And the most frightening thing is that the people of Israel repeated this cycle several times. They suffered. They cried out to the Lord. And God, in His mercy, raised up deliverers.
