Totara Waters Gardens - World's Best Gardens by Ian Wilson Landscape Designer
In this new garden series, we explore and discuss some of the World's Best Gardens. Totara Waters is a sub-tropical paradise and is on a smaller scale, so many ideas can be incorporated especially for those looking for ideas for smaller gardens. Bromeliads and palms with some rare subtropical plants are expertly displayed in this tropical oasis of vibrant lush colour. The 2 acre property is one of New Zealand’s Gardens of Significance’ designated by the New Zealand Garden Trust. The garden is also a nursery for the sale of subtropical plants and Bromeliads. I will take you for a tour around this garden and discuss some of its features that make this one of the World's Best Gardens.
