Pocket Ship project. Time-lapse installing the deck

Pocket Ship project. Time-lapse installing the deck  KBYC Season 02 - episode 11 Starting with the foredeck, first taping paper inside to protect that beautiful shelf & catch any drips that might squeeze out, then spreading thickened epoxy onto the framing & lowering the foredeck into place. Moving on to the cockpit, step one is removing the tape that protected the 'to be epoxied' areas from the painting stage & then stage two is adding masking tape & plastic sheeting to the newly painted bits to protect them from this next oozy epoxy stage. Utilizing the pastry bag technique to apply a neat, consistent bead of epoxy to the deck framing & then resting the decking on top to be held in place with temporary screws. Finally, the inevitable 'boat yoga' of crawling underneath to clean up the squeeze-out & make things smooth. Applying the masking tape & plastic sheeting earlier made this clean up much quicker.  music: master side by: #mobygratis
