SolarHub Project & Ignition Acceleration Program The SolarHub EU project ("A Greek-Turkish Solar Energy Excellence Hub to Advance the European Green Deal") is a pioneering cross-border initiative funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. The project aims to synergistically connect and strengthen the solar energy innovation ecosystems of Greece and Türkiye. By developing early-stage technical Pre-Designs for solar energy solutions (focusing on agri-food and industrial applications) and blending academic research with commercial insights, SolarHub acts as a catalyst for sustainable development, environmental diplomacy, and market ready innovation. What is the Ignition Acceleration Program? The Ignition program is the foundational first cycle of the multi-stage SolarHub Innovation Acceleration Programme (SIAP). Specifically tailored to support early-stage research teams, university students, and innovators, the Ignition cycle provides a structured pathway to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial viability. Participants engage in ideation workshops, receive specialized mentorship and coaching, study intellectual property fundamentals, and leverage SolarHub's technological assets to refine and transform raw energy innovations into solid, investor-ready business model concepts. EU Funding Disclaimer SolarHub has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101086110.
