Even back to the late 1800s. The first experiences in the city led to the founding of Naples Football Club in 1906. After a series of ups and downs, the club was formed on August 25, 2026, with the Associazione Calcio Napoli, which in 1964 took its current name, SSC Napoli S.p.A. The president continues: "There is a symbolic date: August 1, 1926. In reality, the official birth of Napoli is attributed to many different moments, but as a song says, this date of August 1 can be taken as a symbolic date that will keep us busy for an entire year with events, meetings, debates, and a film we are writing. For August 1, we are preparing an event in the heart of the city, designed to unite the past and present of our club. But we won't stop there. Napoli fans are not only in Naples, but all over the world. The centenary will also reach beyond Italy's borders. The expression "p'e ciente anne" will accompany us.
