The Northwest Grand Loop | Day 1 | 500 miles

First long ride of the 2024 season. Leaving my house at 6am I got to Oroville at 11am. Fueled up and hit the northwest passage adventure route. I've always wanted something more after completing the wabdr and I thought this would be a nice connection route to the Idaho bdr and the CDT. First day on the NWP I rode 200 miles. Oroville 11am to boundary Lake 6:15. It was magical. I couldn't stop smiling in my helmet. Smooth gravel roads, smooth dirt roads, great backcountry paved roads.
